A lovely day
We enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day Sunday at the Pala Casino with my mom and dad. The girls and I spent the night at mom's the prior night and had gone to a birthday party in the area the day prior. Dan had stayed home so he met up with us at the casino where we enjoyed a wonderfully delicious brunch. The Casino is on Indian reservation land and it is a lovely drive there through hills and farming areas. There's roadside vegetable stands along the way and abandoned farming homes as well. A creek runs along the backside and there's a patio where you can sit and enjoy the outdoors...especially if you're not into gambling! We've been going there for brunch the last couple of years. Funny thing, my husband usually ends up winning just enough at the tables to pay for our meal!
Violet made me this beautiful photo collage while at nana's. She also made me a lovely homemade card.
Later, nana had promised Olivia that she could spend the night and Violet came home with us and was invited to go to the rodeo for a few hours with her friend. So, Dan and I took advantage of the time alone and took off for a ride on his Harley through the local country roads. It was a lovely day and fun and exciting to ride on the back of his bike.
I hope you enjoyed your Mother's Day as well!
